"Review Week 5"

1.) Shape: This advertisement for Target uses shapes that are visually appealing to the audiences that the company is trying to target. It consists of three circles each of different size. Two are red and one is white. The largest and the smallest circle are both red while the medium sized circle is white. As an icon it is effective in that it clearly states and visualizes for us the name of the company.

2.) Line: This image, a picture of a human face has been created by using different types of lines. The diagnol lines create a feeling of movement, horizontal a feeling of safety and vertical a feeling of being large. The focus of course being the human face is created by using these different types of lines which each convey a different feeling. Certain lines used also create a feeling of depth and 3D.
